Winter Hui Series – key issues report

Thank you to all those who attended our Winter Hui series.

We brought together 63 people from across the sector, from authors, to publishers, to librarians, to booksellers and festival organisers, to discuss a variety of topics in four hui sessions.

Sessions included: an engaging discussion with Alan Dingley the new Reading Ambassador on inspiring young readers; digital book promotion; book discoverability; and opportunities and challenges for writers festivals post-Covid.

If you missed the sessions, or if you attended and want a refresher on the key issues and themes raised, read the report compiled from these hui. The Winter Hui Series report highlights key themes, issues and opportunities raised in these hui discussions.

This report will inform The Coalition’s planning and strategy for the year ahead.
